PICTURE THIS have announced details of a major Dublin show this Christmas. The band will play 3Arena, Dublin on 29th and SSE Arena, Belfast on 27th December 2025 as part of their special Home for Christmas shows.
This Christmas show marks the band’s long-awaited return to Dublin, following their sold-out headline performance at St Anne’s Park, Dublin in June 2024. After playing a sold out run of four coastal regions they never played before the band naturally felt they had to bring their new show also to the capital. Witness the band’s unique theatrical show with a pub, its garden and car park on stage; party moments of a pub lock-in paired with the stripped back emotions of a trad session; a journey through the band’s best of catalogue of four albums.
The announcement follows the release of their new single Heart over Head, a collaboration with German artist Joris and a reinvention of his huge domestic hit “Herz über Kopf"
The track pairs Picture This’s trademark anthemic sound with Joris’ warmth and directness, bridging Irish alt-pop and German folk-pop in a powerful new version of a modern classic. The accompanying video, filmed across Dublin, captures the band in their element.
Since first emerging ten years ago in 2015, Picture This have become one of Ireland’s most successful bands, selling out arenas at home and abroad and amassing a global fanbase drawn to their heartfelt lyrics and arena-sized choruses.
